I have a Vitamix but I'm too sick and weak to shop and chop and prepare healthy food. I can't read more than a few words at a time. I am "fat – 25lbs over- sick and nearly dead." Recipes are geat for healthy people who can stand long enough to fix them. I can't take care of people (used to love to do that) when I have trouble dressing and walking to the bathroom. I see no solution.
Giving up.
Barb,
I am truly sorry to hear about your situation. My heart goes out to you and I wish I could come over to your house right now and make you some delicious healthy food!
Not all healthy recipes take effort. Since you already have a Vitamix, smoothies and other blended meals may be your answer to getting your body the nutrition it needs to enable you to get the energy you need right now. Put your Vitamix on a table, so you can prepare things sitting down. It's ok to take some time to nourish your body.
When I was sick with a chronic illness, I knew the only way out was to keep eating well, so even though everything else in my life was falling apart, I made it my JOB to eat healthy no matter what. It was a priority.
I want to encourage you right now not to give up! Even in the midst of very difficult circumstances, your Creator LOVES YOU and wants to help you right now. Your answer could just be on the other side of your surrendering your situation to God. I will be praying that He will be with you right now in this difficult time.
For you even to write this on my blog is a way of reaching out….and I am touching you right now with God's love and grace. I am praying for you….
I really find this useful. I have often looked at those apps wondering if they were any good. Thanks for the tips!
